Nurse newsletter September

Welcome to our first monthly nurse newsletter! The aim is to improve communication, strengthen teamwork, and ultimately enhance the care we provide to our patients.

Stock

If you notice supplies running low, please take proactive steps before items run out:

  • Write it on the whiteboard.
  • Enter it into the stock sheet on the desktop.

Please do not ask clinicians or Juste if we have more. If additional stock is available, Juste will share it.

Practice cleanliness
  1. If you see something dirty or messy, please address it immediately.
    • The cleaner comes only twice per week (which is fortunate—at many practices, mopping is the nurse’s responsibility).
    • It’s everyone’s responsibility to maintain cleanliness in between.
  2. Clean as you go.
    • Don’t wait until the end of a treatment to start tidying or resetting.
    • Faster surgery turnaround times are essential to improving our workflow.
Equiptment maintenance

We have had too many pieces of equipment break in recent months. To prevent this:

  • Handle all equipment with care.
  • If you notice unusual performance, wear and tear, or signs of damage, inform Juste or Kotryna immediately.
  • If something breaks and is not reported, the servicing cost will be shared among the team.
Use of appropriate PPE
  • Please do not forget to use the aprons.
  • PPE must be removed when leaving the surgery.

However, please be mindful of the waste. Prepare for appointments ahead of time to reduce the need to leave the surgery during the treatment.

We value all of your hard work and dedication. Lets work together to streamline the processes and make everyones job easier.
