Samaneh (Ronak) Shams

Dr. Samaneh (Ronak) Shams completed her specialist training at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s Dental Institute London, having previously graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree in 2008 and worked as principal general dental practitioner. She was awarded her Master of Science in Orthodontics from King’s College London and Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Her commitment to providing the highest quality orthodontic treatment to adults and children is supported by her ongoing professional development and training in the latest technologies and techniques. She is experienced in all contemporary types of orthodontic appliances, including Damon, lingual systems and clear aligners, such as Invisalign, achieving Invisalign Platinum Provider status. She is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, the European Orthodontic Society, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

Dr Ronak’s special interests include non-extraction treatments, smile aesthetics and design and facial-driven orthodontics. She addresses the needs of each patient individually and wants to help you make a well- informed decision. Dr Ronak’s goal is to provide each patient with the most appropriate treatment at the most appropriate time, and to ensure that it gets the very best results from this.

When not working, she spends most of her time with her family, enjoys an active lifestyle, to be outdoors, running or playing tennis and of course shopping…otherwise, you’ll find her cosied up with her daughter reading Fairy tales!
