Vatche Kassardjian

Dr Vatche Kassardjian established Pond Square Dental in 2006, creating a practice dedicated to exceptional clinical standards, modern techniques and high-quality patient care in the heart of Highgate, North London. Known for his caring, diligent approach, he is highly regarded by patients and colleagues for his attention to detail and commitment to achieving long-lasting, natural results.

Vatche qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1999 and has since completed extensive postgraduate training. In 2011, he undertook an 18-month course in Surgical and Prosthodontic Implantology at the Eastman Dental Institute, enhancing his expertise in complex restorative and implant dentistry, including full-arch rehabilitation and advanced prosthodontic planning.

He is a registered Specialist in Prosthodontics, having successfully completed a four-year Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) at the GKT Dental Institute (Guy’s Hospital), as well as specialist training at the London Deanery. He is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Vatche has multiple published research papers in internationally distributed dental journals and has consulted internationally on postgraduate dental education in the UK. He remains actively involved in clinical research at Guy’s Hospital, Department of Tissue Engineering and Biophotonics, and supervises PhD candidates at King’s College London. He has presented work at the International Association of Dental Research and regularly speaks at dental conferences and symposiums.

His specialist interests include complex restorative dentistry, dental implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, smile reconstruction and the management of advanced or failed dental treatments. As Principal Dentist, he leads a multidisciplinary team, ensuring patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care across all general, cosmetic and specialist treatments.

Outside of dentistry, Vatche enjoys film, art, photography, golf, climbing and cycling.
