Patient spotlight

Dr Pasquale Santamaria – our Specialist Oral Surgeon and expert in Periodontology – recently helped a patient whose gums had receded (moved back, making the tooth look longer).

This patient noticed her gums receding on her lower front incisor after orthodontic treatment. They were referred to see Dr Santamaria who was able to clean the tooth of plaque and calculus, and place a soft tissue graft over the exposed root. Everything healed really well and was very happy with the final outcome – they are smiling with confidence once again!
